The Best Bars on the Vegas Strip

When most people think of Las Vegas, they might instantly call to mind images of extravagant hotels, high-stakes poker tables, flamboyant theatrical events, and – of course – heaping glasses of premium cocktails. Fortunately, regarding the latter, Las Vegas has no shortage of fantastic bars worth visiting, many of which are conveniently located on the world-famous Las Vegas Strip.

From high-end rooftop speakeasies to booming karaoke bars, here are some of our favorite drinking establishments on the iconic Vegas Strip.

Like most bars we’ll mention here, Allē Lounge on 66 has everything one might expect from a stereotypical Las Vegas bar. There are the sweeping views, the refreshing drinks, the regular live music, and the swankier atmosphere of a contemporary cocktail lounge.

Located 66 floors up from the Resorts World Las Vegas hotel, Allē Lounge’s more upscale venue might not be to everyone’s liking. Still, in terms of its eloquent environment and classic cocktail recipes, it’s very much worth visiting at least once during your Sin City vacation.

The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails

In theory, few combinations seem as antithetical as a barbershop and a cocktail lounge. But at The Cosmopolitan’s The Barbershop, cuts and cocktails come together to form a uniquely singular experience.

Entering the bar’s front doors, guests will find a traditional ‘30s-inspired barbershop where they can get a haircut or shave from the establishment’s more than qualified staff. Following a quick cut or a brisk shave, you can wander through the shop’s back doors, entering a speakeasy straight out of Boardwalk Empire. (After all, what better way to celebrate a new haircut than by sipping on an Old Fashioned or a gin and tonic?)

Beer Park

You don’t have to love beer to enjoy Beer Park at Paris Las Vegas (although it certainly helps if you do). At this casual drinking establishment, patrons will find an eclectic range of versatile beers, from heavier stouts and floral ales to hoppy IPAs and fruitier sours.

If you’re having trouble deciding what to get, fret not! Like all great beer gardens, Beer Park offers a generously-portioned flight that lets you pick and choose any four beers that are grabbing your attention.

Bleau Bar

Among the most visually striking properties on the Las Vegas Strip, Bleau Bar has a way of capturing your attention the moment you first walk in. In fact, with its avant garde chandeliers and chic furniture, Bleau Bar almost looks more like a setting out of Star Wars than it does a Vegas cocktail bar.

However, rest assured that this gorgeous restaurant takes its alcoholic beverages as seriously as it does its grand environment. Come for the glittering chandelier – stay for the devilishly fresh cocktails and extravagant wine listing.

The Cabinet of Curiosities

Nope, we’re not talking about Guillermo del Toro’s wholly under-watched Netflix series of the same name. Rather, we’re discussing the fabulous speakeasy at the Horseshoe Hotel. True to its name, The Cabinet of Curiosities offers a hearty number of drinks alongside endlessly odd memorabilia, including animal statues, ships in bottles, and tribal masks collected from around the globe.

For fans of the spooky or gothic, The Cabinet of Curiosities is certainly a locale worth checking out. It might be a bit off-beat for the average patron, but to quote Beetlejuice, anyone who considers themselves “strange and unusual” will find it a macabre paradise.

Easy’s

There are many, many, many speakeasies in and around the Las Vegas area, but for our money, one of the most creative has to be Easy’s. Tucked away behind an unassuming donut shop in the Aria Resort, Easy’s brings the glitz and glamor of the Roaring Twenties to the modern age.

From its cozy front stage to its inventive cocktails, everything about Easy’s is pure nostalgia at its finest. A love letter to the bygone days of Las Vegas’s golden era, it’s the kind of juke joint you might imagine Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin hanging out in back in the 1950s.

KAMU Ultra Karaoke

No Las Vegas adventure is complete without visiting a karaoke bar. Fortunately, there’s no end to the number of karaoke joints within the Vegas area, including KAMU Ultra Karaoke near The Venetian Resort.

At KAMU, you needn’t worry about belting out Celine Dion or Johnny Cash in front of a group of strangers. Instead, this high-end karaoke bar provides private rooms and Korean-inspired cuisine, meaning you can sing “Take On Me” as loudly and emotionally as your heart desires.

minus5° Ice Experience

Honestly, we don’t really know what to describe minus5° Ice Experience as the entire venue blurring the lines between a bar and an immersive entertainment attraction. Regardless of how you choose to categorize it, minus5° Ice Experience is guaranteed to leave an indelible impression on the average patron, if only for its creative settings.

As you might have guessed, at minus5° Ice Experience, everything is made out of ice, from its main bar and surrounding walls to its chilled furniture and sprawling poker tables. You might have to dress in layers for the occasion, but we promise you: you won’t find anything as remotely cool in all of Las Vegas (pun intended).

108 Drinks

Located at the very top of The Strat, 108 Drinks offers unparalleled views of Las Vegas and the surrounding Mojave Desert, all from the comfort of its air-conditioned bar and cushier seating options.

With its breathtaking overlook, 108 Drinks remains worth visiting for its “Bottomless Mimosas with a View” – a weekend offering allowing patrons to sip boozy libations for a mere $28.99 per person. In terms of Las Vegas pricing, you simply can’t find a better deal than that!

Skyfall Lounge

Nestled on the 64th floor of the Delano, if you were to stop by only one bar on the Vegas Strip, it had better be the Skyfall Panoramic Bar & Lounge. While numerous rooftop bars line the Strip, few offer the same wondrous views of Vegas as Skyfall.

With windows looking out upon the Luxor Hotel, Skyfall Lounge is a must for anyone looking for strong drinks, lax music, and a commanding overview of the city below. Ironically, when considering its name, it actually does look like the kind of bar James Bond might feel at home in.
